Nadia Roumans
TechnicianNadia is a valued technician in our lab, bringing her expertise in tissue culture to the team. With experience in culturing a variety of cells, including hMSCs, hPDCs and iPSCs, she is instrumental in the production of kidney organoids and ensuring the smooth operation of the lab.
Before joining our team, Nadia pursued a master's degree focused on accelerating murine wound healing through the injection of in vitro polarized M2 macrophages. She then went on to study the adipocyte-driven mechanism for weight regain after weight loss in a human dietary intervention study for her PhD.
When she is not busy in the lab, Nadia enjoys spending time in her garden, listening to music, reading a book, or taking walks in nature. Her diverse interests and skills make her an invaluable member of our team.
